Kathryn Cordey-Hanson

Chief Executive Officer
Kath swapped the classroom for the boardroom in 2025, leaving the teaching profession after 20-years in a local primary school.

Spearheading our strategy in the education sector, Kath plays a key role in working with the many schools, colleges, universities, language schools and Tour Operators that Proximity Coach Travel deals with daily.

Kath is hands on across every function of the business, particularly with risk assessments, safeguarding, policy management and compliance with our vetted supply chain.

Matt Hanson

The Coach Wizard
Matt is the industry ‘Coach Wizard’ and has made a career out of studying the market, delivering the right price to the customer, and fulfilling requirements through his extensive supply chain.

Unsurprisingly, Matt oversees the commercial and procurement arms of the business working tirelessly to build Proximity’s reputation.

A regular speaker on the education circuit, Matt is also available for bespoke and niche services which can be found on our dedicated ‘Coach Wizard’ page.

Jackie Brennand

Financial Controller
Jackie has many years of experience in running her own business and works with Proximity on a part-time basis. She looks after our purchase ledger and credit control functions.

Lauren Heys

Sales Support
Lauren is a family friend of the Proximity business and joins us having been a Teaching Assistant for the past two years.

Lauren will provide support to our sales and reservations function, reporting to Lee-Ann and will also be responsible for the Proximity social media accounts, looking after our respective social handles.

Holly Hill

Sales Support
Holly is a recent addition to the team, working under Lee-Ann in our Sales and Reservations function.   Holly worked for the NHS following her A-Levels and has subsequently worked in administration and sales support, including working with 3rd party suppliers.   Welcome to the team, Holly!
